Lee Bryan, That Puppet Guy will present Trouble in Toyland on Tuesday, December 22nd at 1 pm. Oh no! It’s Christmas Eve – but the toys aren’t finished, the elves are on strike, Santa has lost his laugh, and Rudolph has a runny nose! For 20 years, Lee Bryan “That Puppet Guy” has specialized in extraordinary library programs. Lee’s solo performances are often featured at the internationally acclaimed The Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta.

Join Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat for Holiday adventure Monday, December 7th at 5:30 pm. Kids may bring a blanket and pillow and wear their favorite PJs to enjoy “A Very Monkey Christmas(PG).
Curl up with popcorn and a movie Monday, December 28th at 1 pm for the children’s movie “Minions”.
A “Yarn n’ Kids” workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at 1 pm. Kids can make yarn crafts ranging from weaving, sewing, braiding, macrame, crochet and knitting. Volunteers will help youngsters learn basic crochet and knitting. All materials will be provided.
Join us for a Family Read-in on Wednesday, December 30th. Read, play games, relax and enjoy family and friends. Grandparents and grandchildren are encouraged to share the gift of reading together. If you know a senior in need of Holiday cheer please bring him/her to reconnect with youth. Children from area homeschool families will be doing an outreach by reading to seniors at this event. Cookies and cider will be served from 9 am to 4:30 pm at this informal drop-in.
During the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s library hours will be 9am – 5pm, and our regularly scheduled children’s programs are canceled for the in order to bring you these special events.The library will be closed Thursday, December 24th- Saturday, December 26th, New Year’s Day and January 2nd. On Thursday, December 10th the library will be closed from 11:30 am-1:30 pm for a City of Jefferson function and we will close early at 6 pm on Wednesday, December 16th.
